Technology Is Expanding What’s Possible for My Business

Today, I’m working on integrating a brand-new customer relationship management system into my business. It will give me one organized place to track contacts, including potential podcast guests, current collaborators, sponsorship inquiries, and advertising proposals.

For a growing independent platform like Mr. Wheels, organization matters. Important conversations and opportunities can easily become scattered across email, social media, notes, and calendars. A CRM will help me follow up more consistently, remember where each conversation stands, and build stronger professional relationships without losing the personal connection behind the work.

This project also represents something much bigger to me. Technology can remove barriers that often prevent disabled people from working, staying employed, or running their own businesses. Features that automate repetitive tasks, organize information, support communication, and reduce physical demands are not merely convenient. They are accessibility tools that help create genuine independence.

Because of the technology available to me, I have become more productive in my business than ever before. I can manage the Mr. Wheels podcast, communicate with guests and sponsors, publish advocacy content, and continue developing a platform centered on disability rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and marginalized communities.

Disabled people have always had the talent, ideas, and determination to contribute. When technology is designed and implemented thoughtfully, it gives us more ways to demonstrate what we can accomplish. Today’s CRM work may sound like a behind-the-scenes business update, but for me it is another step toward building a sustainable, accessible, and professional future for Mr. Wheels.
